Glossary

The terms and abbreviations used on the HRX pages, explained briefly.

CereBree and HRX

CereForge
CereBree's transformation practice. CereForge helps an organization understand where it stands today, what needs to change, and how to build the structure HRX relies on. It usually starts with a readiness assessment.
Cognie
The AI companion inside CereBree products. In HRX, Cognie reads a question, gathers the relevant customer, service and people context, and recommends what to do next. People stay in charge of the decision.
HRXHuman Relationship Exchange
CereBree's enterprise platform. HRX brings customer relationships (uCRM), services (uSMS) and people (uRMS) together on one shared foundation, so questions that span all three can be answered in one place.
Readiness Assessment
A structured review by CereForge of how prepared an organization is for HRX. It looks at processes, services, responsibilities and data, and results in a plan for the first stage of the HRX journey.
Relationship Intelligence
CereBree's term for understanding how customers, people, services, contracts and responsibilities depend on each other. Traditional systems store each of these as separate records. Relationship Intelligence connects them, so you can see who is affected, who can act and what is at stake.

HRX building blocks

SeOSService Operating System
The structural foundation under HRX. All three domains use the same models and the same relationship logic from SeOS, which is why they work as one system and not as three integrated applications.
uCRM
The HRX domain for Customer Relationship Management. It covers relationships with internal and external customers: sales, interactions, opportunities and commitments.
uRMSuniversal Resource Management System
The HRX domain for people in their organizational context: employees, roles, skills, capacity, development and responsibilities.
uSeAUniversal Service Architecture
Part of the SeOS foundation. uSeA defines what a service is and how services relate to each other, independent of any tool or industry: identity and lifecycle, owner and fulfilling teams, consumers, service layers and commitments. It is the architecture that all HRX domains and all service catalogues share, so that IT, customer and people services follow the same rules.
uSeCUniversal Service Catalog
The generic catalogue tier of HRX, derived from uSeA. uSeC defines how any service is described, classified and published in a catalogue: which fields a complete service description needs, how service levels are stated and how ownership is recorded. Domain catalogues for IT, customer relationships, HR or SAP services are derived from uSeC rather than restating it, which keeps every catalogue consistent.
uSMSuniversal Service Management System
The HRX domain for services and incidents. It manages the relationships between the people who consume a service, those who deliver it and those who own it, from general service management to IT service management (ITSM).

General terms

CRMcustomer relationship management
Software and practices for managing customer relationships: contacts, sales opportunities, interactions and commitments.
EHRelectronic health record
A hospital's or clinic's digital patient record system. Relevant for HealOpera, CereBree's healthcare domain.
Embeddings
A way to represent text as numbers so that software can find content with a similar meaning, even when the wording differs.
ERPenterprise resource planning
The core business software a company uses for finance, purchasing, production and logistics.
Fulfiller
The person or team that does the work to deliver a service or resolve a request. The counterpart is the consumer, who uses the service, and the owner, who is accountable for it.
GenAIgenerative AI
AI models that produce text or other content, such as the large language models behind chat assistants. In HRX, generative AI is one of several techniques Cognie uses.
HRhuman resources
The function and the systems that look after employees: hiring, development, payroll and organization.
Incident
An unplanned interruption of a service, or a drop in its quality. A critical incident affects many users or important customers and needs an immediate response.
Internal customer
A colleague or team inside the company that depends on a service another team provides, for example employees using an IT or HR service. HRX treats internal and external customers with the same relationship logic.
ITSMIT service management
The way an IT organization designs, delivers and supports its services. Typical processes are incident, request, change and problem management.
SLAservice level agreement
An agreed commitment between a service provider and a customer, such as availability or how fast an incident must be resolved. Missing it is called an SLA breach.
